Warring States Connections:—Interactions Between Warlords—
During the Warring States period, networks transcending social status and position connected powerful figures from across the country, supporting the unification of Japan through the emerging military power of Hideyoshi and Ieyasu. The daimyo (feudal lords) and warlords of the time fought for their own survival, interacting with a wide variety of people and utilizing their connections. This exhibition displays a variety of materials shedding light on the diverse interactions of the Warring States period.
